How long is your grace period?

Back

Last Updated: December 10, 2024

Grace periods depend on the loan type:

-Undergraduate / Career Loans: 6 months after graduation or dropping below half-time.
-Graduate / MBA / Law / Health Professions: 9 months.
-Dental Loans: 12 months.
-Medical Loans: 36 months.

Parent loans do not have a grace period; full repayment begins when the student is no longer enrolled at least half-time.
