Last Updated: April 30, 2022 For students who are applying with an eligible cosigner, there’s no minimum credit score requirement. For cosigners, our minimum credit score is in the mid-600’s. We look at many factors, not just credit score, when approving a loan so we aren’t able to share specific requirements, but we offer a free pre-qualification tool to tell your cosigner if they qualify. Using the tool won't impact their credit score; it uses what’s known as a “soft inquiry”. Pre-qualification isn't a full review or guarantee, but it may help you and your cosigner decide if you want to submit a full application. |
